Online payment processor Payza, formerly known to users under the name of Alertpay, recently integrated a new feature that will allow users to make Bitcoin deposits.
The payment platform directly competing with industry giants PayPal and Skrill considers Bitcoin a good opportunity to expand their capabilities and positively influence the development of the company. Now the possibility to deposit funds in Bitcoin is added to the list of available balance recharge methods on Payza’s official webpage.
Payza representatives commented on their decision to integrate Bitcoin saying they hope Bitcoin would sooner or later become an important part of online payments, and they want to be.
Just two months ago Payza enabled their customers to purchase bitcoins and pay for them with bank transfers. This service, as well as Bitcoin deposits, is available in all 190 countries where Payza is officially presented.
The decision of Payza management to expand Bitcoin integration is said to be largely influenced by Bitcoin activist Charlie Shrem. Earlier this year, after his own Bitcoin exchange project BitInstant failed to be launched, Shrem was invited to collaborate with Payza.
